Case Center Skate Park
Sand Springs Park Friends, Inc. has identified the need for the design and construction of a public concrete skate park to be located within the overall sight plan of the Case Community Center. Sand Springs Park Friends desires to fully utilize a budgeted amount of $125,000 to produce a design/build contract to complete the skate park. It may be possible to expand this initial budget as a result of on-going fundraising efforts and in-kind donations of materials, equipment rental and services. The skate park should draw and engage local users to a facility that will challenge both beginners to the experienced users. The facility shall provide approximately 3,500 square feet to 7,000 square feet of street-style and transitional style elements, obstacles and terrain. This skate park will be unlike any other skate park in the area; as the chosen site is a retention pond with pre-existing elevation changes and a “bowl” like appearance.

We'll transform this retention pond site into a world class concrete skate park. Located just south of the Case Community Center parking lot, it has easy access for both kids and adults. With its natural 'bowl' like shape, it's easy to see why this is the perfect place for a skate park. Construction of the skate park is estimated to begin around early September.
UPDATE: Sand Springs Park Friends, Inc. is excited to announce the selection of a reputable designer/builder for the Sand Springs Concrete Skate Park. Please click here to learn more about the selection of Native Skate Parks, LLC.
