Comments - Having grown up in Sand Springs and lived here most of my adult life, community service is a natural part of my family's social fabric. It was time for me to step up. This is just one way I can try to follow in the footsteps of those visionaries who have come before me.The most rewarding part of serving on City Council is being able to watch our community grow knowing the effort it takes to make that happen.

Comments - I recognize serving on Council the same as pastoring a congregation or church. I have spent my life in service for my community, state and country, from my 14 months in the central high lands of Vietnam to my 9 years with Sand Springs Little League. The most rewarding part of serving is in fact 'the act of serving'. I find every part of serving to be rewarding. I am honored to represent Sand Springs at the State Capitol along with being able to represent INCOG and OML in the same capacity.

What is the most rewarding part of serving on the City Council?
Recognizing a need in our community, planning for addressing the need, implementing the plan to meet the need and recognizing the results such as the Case Community Center.
Any comments, unique things about you, et cetera, that you’d like to add?
Sand Springs is institutional with elected leaders, city staff, programs and an organized structure to deliver essential services to the citizens, but the ESSENCE of Sand Springs is its CITIZENS. Comments -Early in my life, the idea of civic responsibility was instilled in me. I believe every citizen has the responsibility to help improve their community for the next generation.
'The most rewarding part of serving on City Council is the honor of representing fellow citizens with their trust and belief in me to make the best decision possible for our community.
